That’s a wrap on GISEC North Star 2025 — powered by CyberE71!

Three days filled with energy, ideas, and incredible momentum across the cybersecurity and innovation space.

This year, we welcomed over 130 startups, hosted 115+ speakers, and saw 88 teams pitch live on stage during the Unlock Pitch Competition.

We also engaged more than 1,200 students and delivered multiple mentorship sessions — turning ideas into action and startups into real impact.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make this year unforgettable.

At GISEC North Star 2025, a high-level panel titled
“The E71 Model to Building a Thriving Cyber/AI Innovation Ecosystem” brought together thought leaders shaping the future of cybersecurity and innovation across the region.

Organized under the auspices of the UAE Cyber Security Council, the session featured a dynamic exchange on ecosystem orchestration, public–private collaboration, and building AI and CyberSecurity sovereign techecosystems

Moderated by Asmae Lemniei, Managing Director at Lean X Consulting, the distinguished panelists included:
•⁠ ⁠H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government
•⁠ ⁠H.E. Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary, Support Services Sector – Ministry of Finance. Ministry Representative at Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF)
•⁠ ⁠Sonia Weymuller, Co-Founder & General Partner at VentureSouq
•⁠ ⁠Abeer Alameeri, Head of Partnerships and Programs at Sheraa
